Sunectric Solar is a subsidiary of Sunectric Pty Ltd, founded and launched in 2011 to provide and install PV solar systems across Australia’s residential and commercial sector. Since our start, we have over 5,000 units implemented and running.

Gyula Fisli from Sunectric and John G. Dobozy discusses his latest project, Aqua Dam. John is the founder of Molecra Technologies Pty Ltd and the inventor of the patented Molecra Tyre Recycling Technology operating a plant at Loganholme, Queensland. With over 30 years of experience in developing recycling technologies, predominantly tyres and rubber wastes, John worked out how to evolve raw materials into value-added products, all of which have benefits to our natural environmental and a long-term ecological sustainability.

While the U.S. is installing more solar capacity than Germany and Australia, it continues to lag behind those global PV leaders in another important category: prices for residential systems installations.
Koben is currently co-leading a new initiative at RMI to support and scale city efforts to procure and deploy clean and renewable energy. He is also co-leading RMI's support of the America's Pledge Initiative on Climate to analyze, catalyze, and showcase climate leadership by US governors, mayors, and CEOs.

Would You Rather Own or Lease Your Rooftop Solar?

On a recent trip to Australia, we noticed that very few residential solar systems are leased. This is in stark contrast to the U.S., where last year 66 percent of residential solar is leased from third-party owners like SolarCity.
